I&M: All Fort Wayne customers to have power by evening

As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, 100 Indiana Michigan Power customers in Fort Wayne remained without power, according to a statement issued by the company.

It said about 46,000 are still without power this morning after the wind storm that ripped through northern Indiana and southern Michigan.

The company expects to restore power to all of its Fort Wayne area customers by 6 p.m. today.

The South Bend area has more than 16,200 customers without power.
