Man arrested after girl receives photos

An Indianapolis man faces charges that he sent a young girl sexually explicit photos and had a highly sexual conversation online with her while the man lived in Fort Wayne.

Roy E. Barrera, 18, was accused of sending two photos to the 12-year-old girl, who repeatedly told Barrera to stop and that she wasn’t interested in him, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The conversations indicated that Barrera claimed he was a younger girl who was his cousin using his Facebook account, the affidavit said.

Barrera told police it was all meant as a joke that got out of hand. He is charged with child solicitation and dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
