Railroad crossings to close in Warsaw

Several railroad crossings in Warsaw are scheduled to close for repairs.

Warsaw officials announced Monday that the Norfolk Southern railroad crossings at Center Street and Main Street will be closed starting July 21 for three or four days, depending on the weather.

After those two crossings are finished, the crews will move to the Market Street crossing. Officials said it will likely close for one or two days.

The road surface will be removed from curb to curb, so there will be no on-street parking on Hickory Street.

Warsaw officials asked drivers to avoid the closed streets and follow the marked detours.
