All-Star Report: Locals in lineup

INDIANAPOLIS – Northeast Indiana has six linemen on the North All-Star football team that is playing against the South tonight at North Central High School.

Leo’s Logan Glaze will start at left tackle and East Noble’s Eric Holcomb at right guard. Bishop Dwenger’s Nathan Niese will be a backup left tackle.

On defense, Snider’s Donovan O’Day is starting at end, New Haven’s Brandon Stone at tackle, while Carroll’s Tyler Hands is second string at end.

Northeast Indiana will also have seven of the 10 players on the North squad lining up on defense.

Also on defense are starters Concordia’s Tony Perugini at linebacker, North Side’s Nick Cook at cornerback and Churubusco’s Teegan Brumbaugh at strong safety. Warsaw’s Gabe Furnivall is a back up at free safety.
