Chase on State robbed; info sought

Fort Wayne police are investigating a mid-morning Saturday bank robbery.

About 11 a.m., police were called to Chase Bank, at 3101 E. State Blvd., regarding a suspicious person and quickly learned the bank had been robbed.

The robber was dressed in blue work coveralls and was wearing a mask and gloves. He was just over 6 feet tall, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

No one reported seeing a weapon.

The robber ran west toward Santa Rosa Drive with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

A white Dodge or Chrysler minivan with tinted windows was seen in the area about a half hour before the robbery and might be of interest, police said.
