St. Joe Boulevard lane to close for week

A southbound lane of St. Joe Boulevard, south of Tennessee Avenue, will close next week for manhole repair and replacement, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

The lane closure is to begin Monday and remain until the end of the day Aug. 1, the city's Traffic Engineering Department said in a statement.

Southbound traffic will be detoured on Tennessee, Tecumseh and Lake avenues, the statement said. It said northbound traffic will be allowed through the work area.
