Motorcyclist critical after crashing bike

A motorcyclist was left in critical condition after he crashed into a steel railing shortly after midnight Thursday in northeast Fort Wayne.

Witnesses told police that the motorcyclist, whose name was not released, made a left turn from Crescent Avenue onto Anthony Boulevard when he lost control.

As he made the turn, he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a steel railing along the street, police said.

The man was transported to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
