Driver in US 30 crash identified

A 43-year-old Michigan man drove the truck that crashed at U.S. 30 and Snyder Road in southeast Allen County on Wednesday, but he did not have significant injuries from the crash, the Allen County coroner's office said today.

Gregory Scott Schulz of White Cloud, Michigan, died at the scene of the crash about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, the coroner's office said in a statement. He was wearing a seat belt, the statement said.

It said the cause and manner of Schulz's death will be determined when autopsy findings are complete.

Police responded to a westbound semi that had gone off the road into a soybean field and rolled over.

The crash remains under investigation by Allen County police and the coroner's office.
