Lutheran Life Villages received a $25,000 Foellinger Foundation Limited Asset Improvement Grant that will be used for a handicap-accessible vehicle.

Associated Churches is having its Community-Wide Baby Shower through Oct. 17. Items such as crib sheets, baby wipes, teething rings, nail clippers and other baby items will be donated to A Baby’s Closet, which provides items to needy families. Items can be dropped off at several locations through Oct. 17.

Volunteers needed

The Pathfinder Community Supports, a part of Pathfinder Services in Huntington, is seeking volunteers to help in the Special Olympics Ballroom event for next season. Volunteer partners receive lessons for free. To volunteer, call Carol Austin at 260-356-0500, ext. 3109.
