Verbatim: DETECT Drug Task Force makes multiple arrests
Police in Bluffton issued the following news release Friday, April 14:
The DETECT Drug Task Force, comprised of law enforcement agencies from Adams and Wells Counties, completed a 6 month drug investigation this morning which resulted in the arrest of 12 individuals on various drug-related criminal charges.
Officers seized marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription pills during Operation Rolling Rock, named as such because, "Combating the current drug problem is similar to when Sisyphus was forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill," according to lead investigator Andy Ellis of the Bluffton Police Department.
Those arrested and their charges include:
Trae Lane, 23, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing Meth, level 5 felonies.
Rebecka Diaz, 39, of Decatur, 2 counts dealing Meth, level 5 felonies.
Tammy Dasher, 46, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing Narcotic Drug, level 5 felonies.
Kain Vaughn, 21, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing Marijuana, level 6 felonies.
Christopher Sills, 30, of Bluff ton, 2 counts dealing Marijuana, level 6 felonies.
Kristopher Souter, 31, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance, level 5 and level 6 felonies.
Christopher Bushee, 30, of Bluffton, 1 count dealing Cocaine, a level 5 felony and 1 count dealing Narcotic Drug, a level 6 felony.
Stacy Turner, 39, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing a Synthetic Drug, a level 6 felony and class A misdemeanor.
Rebecca Laughery, 26, of Bluffton, 2 counts dealing Meth, level 4 felonies and 1 count Maintaining Common Nuisance, level 6 felony.
Max Healey, 37, of Decatur, 1 count dealing Meth, level 4 felony.
Justice Ice, 22, of Fairmount, 1 count dealing Meth, level 4 felony.
All defendants are considered innocent until and unless they are proven guilty in a court of law.
