A Silver Alert for a missing Sellersburg man was canceled today after he was found dead inside a car parked at a rest area, Indiana State Police said.

David Eugene Cox, 81, was found at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday by a rest park attendant working at the rest area on Interstate 65 North near the 22 mile-marker in Clark County, state police at Sellersburg said in a statement.

A Silver Alert had been issued for Cox early Tuesday morning.

Police said they are still investigating the incident, but believe that no foul play is involved.
