Sean Maguire, a goaltender who had been with the Wheeling Nailers, looks to be heading to the Komets. He was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins by the Arizona Coyotes, who are affiliated with Fort Wayne, in a trade today.
Craig Morgan of ArizonaSports.com reported that Maguire is headed to Fort Wayne. What that would mean for Garrett Bartus, I don't yet know.
Maguire is 8-3-0 with a 3.28 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and a shutout in 12 ECHL games this season, and he's played in four American Hockey League games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Bartus is 4-2-0 with a 2.81 GAA and a .888 SP. Michael Houser, who was named ECHL Goaltender of the Week today, is 11-5-0 with a 2.84 GAA and a .904 SP.
