The Journal Gazette

A man sought in connection with a November 2016 homicide was arrested Thursday in Saginaw, Michigan, Fort Wayne police said today.

Marquavious Jones, 28, of Fort Wayne was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in the shooting death of Sha Rif on Nov. 30, 2016, police said in a statement.

Rif was shot in a car at the Marathon gas station at the intersection of Lafayette and Clinton streets about 2 a.m., police have said.

Police first sought the public's help to find Jones for questioning in January 2017. A warrant for Jones' arrest on charges of murder and using a firearm in commission of an offense was issued in June 2017.
