Federal defendant gets 10 years in cocaine conspiracy

A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine, the U.S. attorney's office said today.

Marco A. Garcia, 31, was sentenced by Judge Theresa L. Springmann in U.S. District Court, the U.S. attorney's office said in a statement. He will have five years of supervised release after his sentence.

According to court documents, between January 2015 and July 2016 Garcia was part of a conspiracy to distribute cocaine, the statement said.
