Strong storms: Kosciusko

A line of strong thunderstorms is affecting Kosciusko County tonight, the National Weather Service said.

At 6:46 p.m., radar indicated strong thunderstorms from near Plymouth to seven miles east of Winamac, moving northeast at 60 mph, the weather service said in a statement.

Winds of more than 40 mph and dime-sized hail are possible with these storms, the statement said.

Locations in the path of the storms include Warsaw, Nappanee, Winona Lake, Syracuse, Milford, North Webster, Pierceton and Mentone, the weather service said.
