All three victims from this morning's triple homicide on Fourth Street have been identified.
The Allen County coroner's office released the names of:
- Deshaun Devon Richards, 25, of Fort Wayne, who was found early today in the 400 block of Fourth Street suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene. Richards was shot in the head, the coroner's office said.
- Dernail Ivory Brown, 26, of Fort Wayne, who died from a gunshot wound of the back at a local hospital shortly after arrival. He was found near the intersection of Harrison and Fourth streets.
- Breondon Devon Pinkston, 28, of Fort Wayne, who was found in the 400 block of Fourth Street. He died from multiple gunshot wounds and died at a local hospital shortly after arrival.
Richards is the 22nd homicide victim in Allen County this year, Brown the 23rd and Pinkston the 24th, the coroner's office said.
Police were called to the intersection of Harrison and Fourth streets at 12:05 a.m. in reference to a shooting. Police were told there was a shooting victim on the sidewalk at that intersection, according to a news release.
As police responded, they received information that a vehicle struck a parked car at Fourth Street west of Wells Street, and that the incident was linked to the shooting.
Inside the vehicle, two additional shooting victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds, the release said.
Police are asking anyone with information on the shootings to call Fort Wayne police at 427-1222 or Allen County Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
The incident remains under investigation by city police, the county prosecutor's office and the coroner's office.
