The Komets have bolstered their roster with the re-signings of Marco Roy, Justin Hodgman and Nicholas Kuqali. They've also signed Kuqali's brother, Alexander.
Roy, 23, is coming off a season of 17 goals and 48 points in 45 regular-season games. He also skated 13 games in the higher-level American Hockey League with San Jose and Utica.
Hodgman, 30, was limited by injuries, including a concussion suffered in the first round of the playoffs, but he produced nine goals and 25 points in 30 games. He helped the Komets to three playoff championships in the International Hockey League, famously scoring the triple-overtime winner in Game 7 of 2008.
Nicholas Kuqali, 33, played six games with the Komets in 2015-16 as a forward. Alexander, 27, a defenseman, had five goals and 21 points in 55 games last season with Quad City.
There are now 23 players on the Komets' roster.
I'll have more on the Komets later today.
