The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory from 4 to 9 a.m. Friday in a five-county part of northeast Indiana.

The advisory means widespread frost is expected in Huntington, Kosciusko, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties, and sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered, the weather service said.

Temperatures overnight are expected to fall into the low to mid-30s, the advisory said.
