IU's Blackmon goes undrafted; reportedly lands with 76ers

James Blackmon Jr. was not selected in Thursday night's NBA draft. Less than an hour after its conclusion, however, a report surfaced that said the Fort Wayne native had agreed to a deal with Philadelphia.

Shams Charania of The Vertical reported Blackmon's agreement with the 76ers, who figure to give Blackmon an opportunity to play in the NBA Summer League.

Blackmon averaged 16.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in three seasons at Indiana and was the Hoosiers' leading 3-point shooter in that time at 41.5 percent.

Blackmon averaged 29.5 points a game at Bishop Luers before wrapping up his prep career with a 33.4 scoring average for Marion.
