Hoosiers roll in exhibition finale

BLOOMINGTON – Indiana closed exhibition play with a 74-53 win over Indianapolis, a NCAA Division II program from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, on Sunday at Assembly Hall.
Robert Johnson powered the Hoosiers with 18 points and five rebounds, while Freddie McSwain Jr. added 12 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore center De'Ron Davis finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
IU coach Archie Miller started the same lineup as he did in the other exhibition contest, an Oct. 28 victory against Marian. The lineup consisted of Johnson, Davis, Josh Newkirk, Devonte Green and Juwan Morgan.
Indiana opens the regular season at home Friday against Indiana State.
