Game 52: TinCaps (18-33) vs. Bowling Green (22-27)

CHRIS GOFF | The Journal Gazette

The TinCaps are back at Parkview Field tonight. Talk about a sight for sore eyes.

Fort Wayne nearly went winless on its eight-game road trip, salvaging one on Memorial Day behind Logan Allen's still-excellent pitching.

The return home gives the TinCaps' fans a look at a new pitcher. Well, sort of. Making his season debut with Fort Wayne is Adrian De Horta, an eighth-round pick of the San Diego Padres in the 2013 amateur draft.

Diehards will recall that De Horta made 11 starts for the TinCaps in 2014, when he was 19 years old. For those who need a refresher course, the Californian right-hander has a three-pitch arsenal: fastball, curveball, changeup.

Here is the lineup for Fort Wayne in the opener of a three-game series against Bowling Green, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays:

Fernando Tatis Jr. SS

Jack Suwinski CF

Jorge Oña RF

Hudson Potts 3B

G.K. Young DH

Eguy Rosario 2B

Brad Zunica 1B

Webster Rivas C

Rod Boykin LF
