Game 75: TinCaps (29-45) vs. South Bend (40-33)

CHRIS GOFF | The Journal Gazette

The TinCaps swept a doubleheader Sunday at Bowling Green and return home looking to carry over that momentum against in-state rival South Bend, an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

The opener of the four-game series will have a delayed start due to rain. First pitch is targeted for 7:30 p.m. after Parkview Field's tarp was removed from the infield at about 6:45 p.m.

Reggie Lawson will be the starting pitcher for Fort Wayne after Ronald Bolanos, originally scheduled, was pushed back to Tuesday.

South Bend is going with All-Star right-hander Duncan Robinson, who has pitched three times against the TinCaps. Two of those were relief outings in April. Robinson started against Fort Wayne on May 29 and went seven innings giving up just one run on four hits with eight strikeouts.
