Game 101: TinCaps (45-55) vs. Kane County (54-43)

Kane County All-Star outfielder Marcus Wilson, a .292 batter with eight home runs, has been activated from the disabled list just in time for the final game of Kane County's series against the TinCaps, who thought they might avoid facing the Cougars' best offensive player.

Instead, Wilson is batting third and playing center field in the rubber game after passing concussion protocol and receiving medical clearance from the Arizona Diamondbacks. He's ranked the No. 19 prospect in Arizona's farm system and is a former second-round draft pick.

Fort Wayne hasn't lost a series at home since Bowling Green swept a three-game set June 1. That streak is in jeopardy because the TinCaps and Cougars split the first two games of this three-game series.

Michel Baez is the TinCaps' starting pitcher. He has allowed one run in 18 innings since joining the team.
