Komets get forward from AHL

Forward Zac Larraza, who had one goal in three games with Tucson of the higher-level American Hockey League, has been assigned to the Komets.
A seventh-round draft pick in 2011 of the Arizona Coyotes, Larraza was part of the U.S. National Development Team before his college career at the University of Denver from 2011 to 2015. He is a 6-foot-2 native of Scottsdale, Arizona.
He has spent much of his professional career in the AHL. He had five goals and nine points in 17 AHL games last season with San Diego, plus seven goals and 16 points in 15 ECHL games with Utah.
He totaled 20 goals and 30 points in 39 games in the ECHL with Manchester as a rookie in 2015-16.
The Komets (2-1-0) play host to the Cincinnati Cyclones (0-1-1) on Friday at Memorial Coliseum.
