Some Teddy Bear Toss history

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

Tonight, the Komets will hold their annual Teddy Bear Toss. Personally, I love them. Good fun for a good cause. Fans will throw stuffed animals after the first Komets goal and they will be collected for kids.

The only problem, obvoiously, is if the home team doesn’t score.

So who has set off the Komets’ Teddy Bear tosses with goals in the past?

In 2013: Chris Auger

In 2014: Mike Embach

In 2015: Nikita Kashirsky

In 2016: Will Weber

Kashirsky's goal actually made ESPN. Right now, I see a bear bigger than me sitting in section 210, so it'll be funny to see someone try to chuck that onto the ice as the Komets take on the Toledo Walleye.
