A day after losing Marco Roy to the American Hockey League, yet again, the Komets have lost Artur Tyanulin – yet again. He was called to Tucson of the American Hockey League, so the Komets won't have him for their game tonight at Memorial Coliseum against the Wheeling Nailers.
Tyanulin has nine goals and 22 points in 16 games with the Komets. He's scoreless in three games with the Roadrunners.
Roy was called to Utica of the AHL on Thursday.
With Zac Larraza and Justin Hodgman injured, the Komets' roster has gotten suddenly short-handed, whereas it was so full they had to trade Joseph Widmar to Greenville for future considerations earlier in the week. That's life in the ECHL for you.
