Chaulk gets AHL job

JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

Colin Chaulk, who spent the last four seasons as the Brampton Beast’s head coach, has been hired as an assistant coach with the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators, multiple sources told The Journal Gazette.

Among the NHL prospects he’ll likely work with is Drake Batherson, son of former Komets player Norm Batherson.

Chaulk captained the Komets to five Cups in the United, International and Central Hockey Leagues.

To my understanding, Chaulk never applied for the Komets’ head-coaching job but did get offered the Indy Fuel job.
