K's, Nailers could get testy

Justin A. Cohn | The Journal Gazette

With Mike Cazzola back from Binghamton of the American Hockey League, it'll be interesting to see how the Komets re-integrate him into the lineup, with the team having played so well without him last week. Mainly, will they break up the line of Shawn Szydlowski, Trevor Cheek and Gabriel Desjardins? I can't imagine they will.

The Komets (33-15-7) are on an 11-2-3 run and coming off a 4-3 victory over Wheeling. The Nailers, tonight's opponents, are coming off a 3-2 overtime victory Friday at Indianapolis but have lost four of their last five games to drop to 28-21-6.

The teams will play again at Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, too, so I would imagine these games will get rough before long because they'll be sick of seeing one another.
