Purdue footballl added two more 2019 recruits to its run of recent recruiting successes Thursday, as three-star cornerback Cameron Allen and three-star linebacker Khali Saunders announced they'll play for the Boilermakers. Notre Dame also added a running back to its class when three-star running back Kyren Williams chose the Irish.
The pair of commitments gives Purdue 17 players in the 2019 class, including 10 in the last week alone. That flood of commitments in the last seven days has elevated the Boilers' class to No. 18 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten, per 247sports.com.
Allen is a 6-foot-1 Bluefield, Va. native who is the No. 88 corner in the country, while Saunders is out of Elmhurst, Ill. and is the No. 55 linebacker in the nation.
Williams is the first skill position player on offense in Notre Dame's 2019 class out of 15 players. The Irish's class is No. 4 nationally.
