Notre Dame added two more recruits to its 2019 class Wednesday when three-star wide receiver Cam Hart and three-star quarterback Brendon Clark chose the Irish, expanding the class to 16 players.
Hart committed Wednesday morning, choosing Notre Dame over offers from Penn State, Indiana, Purdue and West Virginia, among others. The 6-foot-3 pass-catcher out of Olney, Maryland is the No. 85 receiver nationally and the No. 12 player in Maryland, per 247sports.com. He's the first receiver in the Irish's 2019 class.
Clark was also the first quarterback in the class. A 6-foot-2, 217-pound pro-style passer from Midlothian, Virginia, he had originally committed to Wake Forest but decommitted June 10. He's the No. 22 pro-style quarterback in the class.
With the pair of commitments, Notre Dame's class jumps to No. 6 nationally, up from No. 9.
