Irish add to recruiting class
Notre Dame football added a recruit to its 2019 class Sunday when Kendall Abdur-Rahman, a three-star wide receiver from Edwardsville, Illinois, committed to the Irish.
Abdur-Rahman, who scored 34 touchdowns as a junior for his high school team, visited Notre Dame with his family during the Michigan game on Sept. 1. He is the No. 285 player in his class, per 24/7 Sports and the No. 5 player in Illinois.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete's commitment is the 18th in Notre Dame's 2019 class, which ranks No. 12 nationally. The class now includes two wide receivers, with Maryland's Cam Hart joining Abdur-Rahman.
