I don't normally get caught up in seeing two players going head-to-head at a G League game, but Walt Lemon Jr. vs. former Mad Ants star Tony Mitchell should be worth the price of admission.
They are arguably the two most exciting players to play for the franchise. Of course, they won't directly match-up; Lemon is a guard and Mitchell a forward.
Mitchell, by the way, has been coming off the bench for Sioux Falls. It's cool to see him interacting with fans during warm-ups. That is something I don't get to see while covering hockey – former players chatting with familiar faces while getting ready for the game.
Anyway, should be fun tonight.
