JUSTIN A. COHN | The Journal Gazette

For the second straight game, DeQuan Jones led the Mad Ants in scoring. He totaled 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting, leading Fort Wayne to a 115-106 victory over the Windy City Bulls on Wednesday night at Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Jones had eight rebounds – all at the defensive end – for the Mad Ants at the Sears Centre.

Trey McKinney Jones had 18 points. And Jamil Wilson, playing his second game with Fort Wayne, totaled 17 points in front of 590 fans.

The Mad Ants (17-13) never trailed and won for the sixth time in their last nine games. It was a solid response to Monday’s 113-95 loss to Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ontario, where Jones had 29 points.

Stephan Hicks had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Mad Ants, Walt Lemon Jr. had 14 points and Jarrod Uthoff added 10 points with seven rebounds. Indiana Pacers rookie Edmond Sumner had five points on 2-of-4 shooting in 16 minutes of action.

The other Pacers player on a two-way contract, Ben Moore, made his NBA debut Wednesday night and had an assist in a 116-101 victory over Phoenix.

Windy City (13-15) was led by Antonio Blakeney’s 35 points and Jaylen Johnson’s 22.
