Mad Ants drive by Grand Rapids

DeQuan Jones had 26 points and eight rebounds for the Mad Ants, who staved off a second-half comeback and defeated the Grand Rapids Drive 115-104 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit today.

The Mad Ants had a 53-37 halftime lead but the Drive got back into it with a 40-32 third-quarter run.

Jarrod Uthoff had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Mad Ants, who lead the Central Division, and Ben Moore had 17 points.

Tra-Deon Hollins had 12 points and 10 assists. All his points came from 3-point range; he was 4 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Grand Rapids was paced by K.J. McDaniels’ 22 points.
