A trailer for the upcoming NBA 2K19 video game reveals that the Mad Ants, Fort Wayne’s team in the G League, will be featured prominently in the My Career story mode called “The Way Back.”
The trailer, which is more than 2 minutes long, details the journey of a player from playing in China to the Mad Ants, with which he follows his dream of making it to the NBA.
The Mad Ants’ name, logo and jersey are shown prominently. And some scenes from the locker room and court don’t look too far off from Memorial Coliseum.
The game releases Sept. 11, however gamers can get an early start with a free release of the NBA 2K prelude on Aug. 31.
