Ferrer sets record in Saint Francis' road win

Saint Francis senior quarterback Nick Ferrer threw six touchdown passes to set a new career school record as the No. 1 Cougars rolled past St. Ambrose 49-21 on Saturday in Davenport, Iowa. 

Ferrer now has 110 career touchdown passes to break Jeremy Hibbeln's mark of 107.

Dan Ricksy caught four of Ferrer's touchdown passes, with Rocky James and Nate Carson getting one each.

The defending NAIA national champion Cougars (3-0) led 35-21 at halftime and outscored the Bees (2-1) 14-0 in the second half. 

Also for Saint Francis, Justin Green ran for 162 yards and a touchdown.
