Outlook: The Titans are averaging 95.7 points per game this season, ranked atop the Horizon League and fifth in the NCAA, while the Mastodons are scoring 79.5 per game. ... IPFW is led by Bryson Scott (21.7 points), John Konchar (13.7 points, 9.8 rebounds) and Kason Harrell (13 points). Detroit is led by Corey Allen (18.7 points), Kameron Chatman (17.8 points, 8.7 rebounds), Jermaine Jackson Jr. (12.8 points), Josh McFolley (11.5 points) and Tariiq Jones (10 points).
Last year, IPFW won the other only match-up between the schools 93-86 in Detroit. The Titans' Allen scored a then-career high 33 points and was 11 of 17 from the field and 9 of 13 from 3. Scott and Konchar each scored 21 in to lead the Mastodons in that contest.
Konchar passed the 1,000-point mark at ETSU on Nov. 25, the 14th player in the program to reach the milestone.
The Mastodons have won 16 straight home non-league games dating back to Dec. 30, 2014 (a 71-57 loss to Cal Poly). The streak includes the CIT win over Ball State in March.
