Former Boiler Thompson signs with team in Denmark

Former Purdue guard P.J. Thompson signed a one-year deal with Team FOG, a professional team in Naestved, Denmark, on Friday. The team plays in the top Danish league, Basketligaen, and won the Danish Cup in 2017.

Thompson's signing means all four members of Purdue's most recent senior class have found professional teams. Vincent Edwards, Dakota Mathias and Isaac Haas all signed with NBA teams.

The Indianapolis native finished his career 13th in Purdue history with 161 made 3-pointers and ninth in 3-point accuracy at 40.3 percent. He started all 37 games as a senior and averaged 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
