Indiana Tech men hang on at home


Behind CJ Bussey's 15 points, the Indiana Tech men's basketball team finished off a 62-58 win over Madonna on Wednesday night at the Schaeffer Center.

Indiana Tech (16-5, 11-2 WHAC) was ahead by 15 with 12:41 to go but saw that lead cut to three before Madonna (9-12, 4-9) missed a 3 that would've tied it with 5 seconds remaining.

ALMA 85, TRINE 74: In Alma, Michigan, Trevor Gernaat scored 30 points with seven rebounds as Alma held off the Thunder (7-9, 2-3 MIAA). Trine's Kyle Dodson had 27 points.

ANDERSON 99, MANCHESTER 87: In North Manchester, a 37-point performance by Stanley Duncan led Anderson over the Spartans (5-10, 3-5 HCAC). Tyler Alexander had 26 points for Manchester.


SPRING ARBOR 58, SAINT FRANCIS 56: In Spring Arbor, Michigan, Kylie Townsley had 27 points and six rebounds to help end the Cougars' six-game winning streak. Saint Francis (11-10, 6-3 Crossroads League) was led by Kara Gerker's 10 points and 15 rebounds.

MANCHESTER 45, ANDERSON 41: In Anderson, Faith-Alexis Graham had 18 points to lead the Spartans (5-11, 4-5 HCAC).

INDIANA TECH 77, MADONNA 63: At the Schaeffer Center, Keanna Gary went for 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Warriors (14-6, 9-4 WHAC).

GOSHEN 73, HUNTINGTON 49: In Goshen, Sophia Sears posted 18 points to lead Maple Leafs. Miranda Palmer led the Foresters (9-11, 3-6 Crossroads League) with 20 points.

BALL STATE 78, EASTERN MICHIGAN 49: In Muncie, the Cardinals beat Eastern Michigan for the eighth time in the last 11 meetings thanks in part to Renee Bennett's 19 points.

GRACE 45, INDIANA WESLEYAN 43: In Winona Lake, the Lancers (11-10, 6-3 Crossroads League) upset the No. 12 Wildcats behind 12 points from Kelsie Peterson.

SOUTH DAKOTA 87, IPFW 59: In Vermillion, South Dakota, Allison Arenas had 18 points as the Jackrabbits handed the Mastodons (3-16, 0-6 Summit League) their sixth straight defeat. Rachel Rinehart scored 14 for IPFW.
