Paulding Chamber to host candidates' breakfast
The Journal Gazette
The Paulding Chamber of Commerce will host an Oct. 4 breakfast where voters can learn more about the candidates and issues on the ballot.
The event will be at 8:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Paulding, Ohio. A breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and donations to cover that are encouraged.
Candidates or representatives will each have an allotted time to speak to the group, focusing on issues affecting the economy. In addition, there will be a casual meet-and-greet time.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know more about the issues facing the voters and a chance to meet the candidates themselves," Peggy Emerson, Chamber director, said in a statement. "We want to know what plans folks have for growth in our community. It's a great way to stay informed."
If there are any candidates who would like to participate, they should contact the Chamber at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (419) 399-5215.
