Indiana Miss Basketball finalist and recent Purdue commit Karissa McLaughlin headlines the girls roster for the annual Nancy Rehm Border Wars all-star basketball game.
McLaughlin, who won the Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year award, is one of four members of the Class 4A state champion Homestead Spartans on the roster including Madisen Parker, Jazmyne Geist, and Teryn Kline.
Others on the 13-player team include Snider's Kyla Covington and Daysianae Hinton, Whitko's Brianna Cumberland and Aly Reiff, Concordia's Shania Kelly, South Side's Darashana Nathan, Tippecanoe Valley's Anne Secrest, Canterbury's Mason VanHouten, and Carroll's Becca Villanueva.
The boys team has tryouts tonight and its roster will be announced Friday.
The games are set for April 30 at Saint Francis. The girls will play at 2 p.m. and the boys at 4:15 p.m.
