Indiana girls sweep juniors; boys split

The Indiana Girls All-Stars finished off a sweep of the Junior All-Stars with a 107-67 win Thursday at Plainfield High School. 

Miss Basketball and Homestead graduate Karissa McLaughlin had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists. Another Homestead graduate, Madisen Parker, added two points and one rebound. Gary West's Dana Evans led six players in double figures with 19 points. 

For the Juniors, DeKalb's Leigha Brown had nine points and five rebounds. 

The Indiana Boys All-Stars, coached by Carroll's Marty Beasley, avenged a loss to the Juniors by winning 134-92. 

Warsaw's Kyle Mangas had four points and six rebounds. Indiana had four players scored at least 20 points, led by Castle's Jack Nunge with 28.
