Snider football players to Purdue, Western Michigan

Two key members of Snider's football team made their college decisions today. Linebacker Austin France has committed to Western Michigan while defensive lineman Lawrence Johnson will attend Purdue.
Shortly after making the announcement, France tweeted "My dream has finally come true."
Johnson also took to social media to celebrate his decision as the 6-foot-4, 285 pound defensive tackle tweeted: "Thanking the man above more than ever!! All I do is for you Peytin" in reference to Snider girls basketball player Peytin Chamble, who was killed in a car crash this past November.
The two rising seniors helped lead the Panthers to the SAC title as well as a 5A semi-state appearance this past season.
As a junior, Johnson made 51 tackles and collected four sacks in 2016. France also made his presence felt on defense with four interceptions and 85 tackles.
