By Hey coached North Side while the Cadets were lead by then-rookie coach Glenn Parrish. At the end of the ceremony as the Elder Cadets were leaving the floor, the latest edition of the North Siders came on the floor and congratulated them.

Bishop Luers girls pay back Norwell
The Bishop Luers girls basketball team avenged a regular-season loss with a 53-50 win over Norwell in the Class 3A sectional at Bellmont on Tuesday.
Luers (17-7) fell to Norwell 59-46 on Jan. 23, handed Norwell its first sectional loss since 2010.
Norwell (17-6) led 28-27 at halftime and the teams were tied at 42 after three quarters.
NORTH SIDE 38, EAST NOBLE 36, 2OT: At Carroll, Laquisha Ruth scored 10 points for the Legends (6-16) for the program's first sectional win since playing in the sectional final in 1997.
Kara Kline scored 13 for the Knights (5-19) and Grace Erwin added 12.
CARROLL 68, SNIDER 35: At Carroll, Laney Steckler led the Chargers (17-6) with 21 points and Kelli Damman added 14. Carroll faces DeKalb in Friday's semifinal.
Hannah Barnes scored 22 for the Panthers (8-15).
CONCORDIA 55, NEW HAVEN 11: At Bishop Dwenger, Carissa Garcia and Chanteese Craig each scored 15 points to lead the Cadets (15-7), who held the Bulldogs (2-21) scoreless in the first and third quarters.
NORTHWOOD 56, WEST NOBLE 36: At Fairfield, Lauren Burns scored 10 points for the Chargers (18-7) in the loss.
Savannah Feenstra led the Panthers (16-8) with 14 points and Neely Trenshaw added 10. NorthWood now faces Fairfield (20-2) in Friday's semifinal.
TIPPECANOE VALLEY 53, LAKELAND 29: At Fairfield, the Vikings (20-3) advance to face Wawasee in Friday's semifinals.
ADAMS CENTRAL 26, CHURUBUSCO 25: At Eastside, Carly Holley and Brooklyn Salway each scored six points for the Flying Jets (5-18). Adams Central faces ACAC foe Bluffton in Friday's semifinal.
Callie Lemper led the Eagles (3-20) with eight.
EASTSIDE 46, SOUTH ADAMS 41: At Eastside, the Blazers (15-8) were led by Lindsey Beard's 14 points and Sullivan Kessler's 11 to knock off the defending sectional champions. The hosts advance to face Canterbury in Friday's semifinal.
Sydney Pierce and Madi Wurster each scored 11 for the Starfires (15-9).
LAKELAND CHRISTIAN 39, BETHANY CHRISTIAN 34: At Bethany Christian, the Cougars win their first sectional game in program history to advance and face Hamilton in Friday's semifinals.
SOUTHERN WELLS 42, DALEVILLE 37: At Southern Wells, the defending sectional champions and host Raiders (9-14) advance to play Wes-Del on Friday.
