Chargers beat Eagles in tennis

West Noble boys tennis swept Churubusco on Tuesday. In No. 1 singles, West Noble's Isaac Weimer defeated Andy Bowyer 6-0, 6-0.

In No. 2 singles Chris Miller defeated Churubusco's JD Krider 6-1, 6-0. In No. 3 singles, West Noble's Brayden Bohde defeated Tyler Miller 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.

In the No.1 doubles spot, JJ Jacobs and Dillan Sumowski defeated Churubusco's Brett Barkley and Gavin Haberstoch 5-7, 6-2, 6-2. In No. 2 doubles, West Noble's Wes Shaw and Logan Jacobs defeated Scott Shaw and Garrett Wyman 6-0, 6-2.

Girls volleyball

CARROLL 3, NORTHROP 0: At Northrop, the Chargers defeated the Bruins 25-12, 25-6, 25-18. Anna Frey had eight kills to lead the Chargers. Madison Brooks and Kendal Brager each had four kills to lead the Bruins.

Girls golf

CONCORDIA 203, NORTHROP 229: At Colonial Oaks, Skylar Whitman shot a low of 48 for the Bruins. Akira Seals-Perkins and Paige Rogers each shot a low of 48 for the Cadets.

COLUMBIA CITY 186, NORWELL 190: At Timber Ridge, Katie Hoag shot a low of 38 for Columbia City. Audrey Barnes shot a low of 46 for Norwell.
