Four local players named to Top 50 all-state football list

Four Fort Wayne players were named on the Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50 All State list. Bishop Dwenger's Joseph Tippmann and Snider's Randy Holtz were named as an offensive linemen, Snider's Simon Dellinger was named as a tight end and Wayne's Craig Young made this list as a wide receiver. 

Adams Central had five players make the Class 1A all-state senior team: Jashawn Berlanga (offensive line), Parker Bates (quarterback), Logan Macklin (running back), Bailea Sprunger (kicker) and Jalen Hammond (linebacker). Tanner Allen (offensive line) and Joey Emenhiser (defensive back) of Churubusco were also named to the senior team. Churubusco's Reese Wicker (offensive line) and Sam Wood (defensive back) were named to the junior team. South Adam's Nick Miller was named to the junior team as a defensive lineman.

Woodlan had two players named to the Class 2A all-state senior team: Dane Cassellman (offensive line) and linebacker Seb Spieth. Warriors punter Trevor Wallace was named to the junior team. Bluffton defensive lineman Levi Boots was also named to the senior team. 

Bishop Luers had three players named to the Class 3A senior team: Jordan Presley (wide receiver), Allen Jackson (linebacker) and defensive back Justin Gaston. Concordia wide receiver Kamari Anderson-Drew and defensive lineman Liam Fletcher were also named to the senior team. 

Class 4A champ Bishop Dwenger had three players on the senior team: Kicker Michael Garrett, linebacker Tavehon McGarry and defensive back Timothy Tippmann. Linebacker Hayden Ellinger was named to the junior team. Offensive lineman Darius Alexander was named to the senior team for Wayne. East Noble was represented by running back Kaiden Harshberger, and linebacker Luke Honer made the team from Angola. Hornets offensive lineman Kyle Trick and defensive back Ryan Brandt made the junior team. Leo's Peyton Wall made the junior team as a linebacker.

Snider offensive lineman Will Swartz, defensive lineman Tavareon Scott and defensive back Ethan Hoover all made the Class 6A senior team, and defensive lineman Gianini Belizaire was named to the junior team. Homestead offensive lineman Porter Haught and defensive back Cameron Shannon also made the senior team, as did Carroll wide receiver Camdyn Childers. Homestead wide receiver Grififn Little and linebacker Camden Rogers were named to the junior team.
