Sweetwater recently hired 19 new employees, bringing total employment at Sweetwater to more than 950. They are Jonathan Casarow, Nicholas Weaver, Adam Szmurlo, Nate Periat, Jason Cannon, Andrew Davis, Daniel Vranic and Danny Reese, sales engineers; Adam Lill and Chris Magdich, sales assistants; Mike Horn, retail-store merchandiser; Josh Wenning, Web designer; Alicia Smith, production artist; Kelly Heath, risk management analyst; David Stahl, IT ops engineer; Mat Smith, support technician; Jae Bryant, customer factory repair coordinator; Priscilla Macias, receptionist; and David Schownir, product tester.

 

Eileen Claypool joined Early Childhood Alliance as development director and Connie Heflin was hired as major gifts director.

 

Tim Gardner joined STAR Bank as director of marketing and communications.

 

Cindy Brogan joined BRC Rubber & Plastics as a customer service representative.

 

Jenny Lemmon joined the accounting firm of Dulin, Ward & DeWald Inc. as a senior manager.

 

Eric Leafgreen with BKD LLP was promoted to senior managing consultant and Luke Sermersheim was promoted to director.

 

Dorian Maples, registered nurse and owner of Dorian Maples & Associates Geriatric Care Management, was approved for renewal for certification by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers for another three years.

 

Adam L. Bartrom was elected partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Fort Wayne office effective Jan. 1.

 

Jack Morris, a partner in the law firm of Benson, Pantello, Morris, James & Logan, was named as a board member for Fifth Freedom, a statewide disability advocacy organization.

 

Detective Kevin W. Smith was promoted to sergeant as the investigative squad leader for the Fort Wayne Post.

 

John Cress joined The Nichols Co. as an account coordinator.

 

Sandy Junk of Gibson was promoted to senior client manager in commercial risk management.
