Ruth Koontz was hired as director of marketing and development for The Literacy Alliance.

They are Al Cyr, Cyr and Cyr Insurance Services, 45 years; Randall Lehman, Lehman Financial Advisors, 27 years; Gary Woolman, Securian Financial, 20 years; Joyce Hefty-Covell, State Farm, 20 years; Art Schroeder, Thrivent Financial, 18 years; Dan Doehrmann, New York Life, 5 years; Davon A. Bultemeier, Thrivent Financial, 2 years. Renee Hiner joined Academy Mortgage’s Fort Wayne branch. Adam Lamb, Josh Cranfill and Nick Staker passed their continuing education requirements.

 

Dr. Lars Langschwager joined Women’s Health Advantage’s OBGYN staff at 1061 Smaltz Way in Auburn.

 

Do it Best Corp. hired Ashley Black as an IT asset management coordinator; Travis Burns, computer operator; Tony Miller, copy writer; Julia Monterroso, international coordinator; Robin Norris, print and mail fulfillment clerk; Jacob Patterson, IT intern; and Stacey Stanton as a graphics production coordinator. Promoted were Cindy Hixson as merchandise manager; Christopher Seplak, stock correspondence representative; and Mica Smith as an assistant merchandising manager.

 

James Ryan was hired to lead the commercial lending department at MidWest America Federal Credit Union.

 

Kendall Overmyer with Century 21 Bradley Realty Inc. was recognized as the No. 1 individual agent sales producer for November.

 

Mike Eikenberry has retired as dean of IPFW’s Doermer School of Business as of Dec. 31. Joseph Khamalah, associate dean and associate business professor, will serve as interim dean while IPFW officials conduct a national search for Eikenberry’s replacement.

 

Marcus A. Heminger with the Fort Wayne law firm of Barrett McNagny LLP was elected partner effective Jan.1.
