Fort Wayne Ballet closes season with 'Progressions'

Get up close and personal as Fort Wayne Ballet closes its 60th season with a series of dances in its three studios.

“Progressions” includes pieces such as “Tangled Webs,” a contemporary ballet choreographed by Tracy Tritz that includes tango inspirations and poetry.

Among other pieces are the 1905 solo “The Dying Swan”; “Arrested Courage,” choreographed by Chloe Holzman, in which a trio of dancers are tied together; and “Allegro,” choreographed by Tami Janoff Horowitz, who drew inspiration from Matiesse's painting “The Dance.”

Former Fort Wayne Ballet associate artistic director David Ingram choreographs “Fort Wayne Ballet Too” at 9 p.m. Saturday in the Arts United Center Plaza, 303 E. Main St.
