CHOIR REHEARSAL: The Fort Wayne Children's Choir is hosting “Come Try Us,” an opportunity for interested singers in the third grade and older to attend a rehearsal. Singers can come to the following rehearsals: 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 26, rehearse with lyric choir in grades third to fourth at Fort Wayne Philharmonic, 4901 Fuller Drive, Ivy Tech North campus; 5 to 6:15 p.m. March 27, rehearse with the apprentice choir in grades second through fifth at Holy Cross Lutheran School, 3425 Crescent Ave.; or 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 29, rehearse with treble choir in grades fourth through seventh at IPFW Rhinehart Music Center, 2101 E. CHOIR RESULTS: The Carroll High School show choirs competed in the Heart of America Show in Nashville, Tennessee, on Feb. 24. Select Sound won best choreography and was runner-up in the unisex division. Minstrel Magic won best crew, costumes and vocals and was runner-up in the championship division.


The Fort Wayne Artist Guild is accepting entries for its 41st annual Ventures in Creativity Exhibition from July 9 to Aug. 17 at University of Saint Francis. Entries are due by June 8. For more information or to enter, go to
